Other interesting information:
After the filter stops filtering water (after 3-6 months of use) it can be re-purposed to filter air. Bamboo absorbs harmful chemicals and other substances in the air, even reducing electromagnetic radiation in your home emitted by household electronics. This decreases chance of fever and backache and improved rhe environment.
Another use is to keep produce fresh for longer, when put in the fridge it fights harmful chemicals, bacteria and fungi.
Use:
1 10cm stick of activated carbon bamboo is suitable to filter approximately 600ml of water. It is most efficient when left in the water for 2 hours before consumption. Dependant on preference the bamboo should be boiled to freshen every 1-2 weeks. The less it is boiled the longer it works for. Water filter life is approximately 4-6 months dependent on how often it is boiled. Re-purposed they can last up to approximately 2 years (reducing smell in food cupboards by the end of its life, no longer reliable for food).
Reduces waste, pollution while providing a cost effective and healthy solution for water filtration.
